The Hispanic American Student
This student has grown up in the United States. His native language is Spanish. He currently attends high school as a junior. While learning in the ELL classroom, he has found the hardest part of learning English to be memorization. It is difficult for him to remember the meanings of words and in which context the use of the word is appropriate.
This student spends his free time playing football with his friends, riding his bike, and playing video games with his friends. He dreams of going to university in order to build a career in aerospace engineering. This student believes that EL students feel more welcome, when other students simply include them in their conversations and invite them to join their activities.
