The Somalian Student

This student is a current high school senior. She has lived in the United States for a year and a half. She loves the food in America. This student also finds American culture fascinating, specifically how they celebrate everything. Her native language is Somali. She learned some basic English in Somalia but finds speaking and truly understanding English to be difficult. 

This student loves reading books and listening to music. She especially enjoys trying new things such as cooking. Her goal is to become either a nurse or an event planner.
